Garuda Indonesia launched a new route for western Indonesia, namely Jakarta – Sibolga – Medan round trip (PP). Selection of this route due to the potential of this tour became one of the attractions for foreign tourists and tourists in the country.

Director of Marketing and Sales of Garuda Indonesia Erik Meijer said the opening of the new route is expected to facilitate service users who want to travel from Jakarta and Medan to Pinangsori, especially for tourists and businessmen from home and abroad.
“The opening of this new flight route is part of the continuation of Garuda Indonesia’s network development program, especially in western Indonesia,” Erik said in a press release here on Monday (9/6).
Garuda Indonesia will serve Jakarta – Pinangsori – Medan pp daily flight route using Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen with 96 passengers, consisting of 12 passengers in Executive Class and 84 passengers in Economy Class.
Flight Jakarta – Pinangsori (GA262) departs from Jakarta at 11:05 pm and arrives at Pinangsori at 13.00 pm. While the flight Pinangsori – Jakarta (GA263) depart from Pinangsori at 08.00 pm and arrived in Jakarta at 09:55 pm.
Currently, Garuda Indonesia operates 108 flights per week from the Medan hub. In the company’s network development plan, in 2014 Garuda Indonesia will bring in 27 new fleets.
